    Father Matt is a veteran of the United States Air Force, having enlisted after high school. After being honorably discharged, he went to college at Asbury University where he met his wife, Sarah. He has a Master's Degree in Religion from Reformed Theological Seminary and was ordained to the priesthood in 2012. He has served as a curate at Saint Michael the Archangel in Charlotte, NC and at Saint Barnabas, Dunwoody GA. He was called to be Rector of Christ the Redeemer in 2015. In 2021 Father Matt was named Canon to the Ordinary by Bishop Chandler Jones, SSC. Sarah teaches art at Veterans High School. They have 3 children.

    Father Matt is a member of the Society of the Holy Cross - SSC.

  • The Revered Jamie Danford

    ASSISTING PRIEST

    Father Jamie is currently a full-time Chaplain in the United States Air Force Reserve.  He went to college at Enterprise State Jr College where he met his wife Lynn, and then graduated at Troy University at Dothan.  He has a Master's of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and a Master in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Troy University.  Before joining the Anglican Church and being ordained to the priesthood in 2006, Fr Jamie originally served in the United Methodist Church.  In addition to overseas deployments Fr Jamie has served at Our Savior, Florence, SC, Our Redeemer, Marietta, GA; and St. Mathias Anglican in Dothan, AL. He and his wife Lynn have 2 children.

  • Deacon Clyde Wilkins

    Deacon Clyde is a retired veteran of the United States Air Force, having enlisted at the age of 17 years old and served for over 34 years, achieving the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. He also is a retiree from Federal Civil Service. He holds Associate Degrees in Construction Management, Production Maintenance Management, and Business Management. He also has earned a Master of Ministry degree from Nashotah House Theological Seminary. Before joining the Anglican Church, Deacon Clyde served in various lay leadership positions such as youth group leader, and Elder in Evangelical and Lutheran congregations. Since becoming an Anglican he served as Junior Warden and Senior Warden in various parishes. Since being ordained as a deacon in 2023, he has served as Curate of Christ the Redeemer. He and his wife Teresa (Terry) have two grown children, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
